Chambers and Partners Names Bondurant Mixson Among the "Leading Lawyers for Business" for the Fourth Year in a Row
Chambers and Partners is a London-based publisher of guides designed to help the international business community identify the World's Best Business Lawyers. Chambers touts its guides as independent, objective, and based upon both extensive peer review research and interviews with major business consumers of legal services.
In June 2006, Chambers released the results of its peer-and-client research in the fourth edition of its Guide to Leading Business Lawyers in the U.S. For the fourth consecutive time, BME rides high in Chambers’ rankings. This year, Chambers singles out BME for excellence in both Antitrust and Litigation. According to Chambers’ research, BME is “the top boutique in town,” and “is still regarded as ‘the best antitrust litigation practice in town…” Chambers notes that “clients rhapsodize over these lawyers, citing them as ‘undoubted masters of the courtroom who represent a superb marriage of talent and knowledge’.”
In addition to recognizing the firm, Chambers also ranked several of the Firm’s partners among the best in the State: “The lawyers: Commentators agree that Emmet Bondurant is ‘the name to mention in litigation – absolutely one of the best in the state.’ He is ‘superb on complex, commercial litigations’ and provides ‘an amazing courtroom presence.’ He has a mixed practice and has handled patent and antitrust matters over the past year. Mickey Mixson also earns enthusiastic endorsements for his commercial litigation expertise. He is particularly good on securities work and has ‘a superb touch with juries.’ Jeffrey Bramlett is ‘an excellent lawyer with an admirable range of skills’ while John Floyd is recommended as ‘a magnificent RICO lawyer’.”
