Bondurant Navigates Athens-Clarke County to Mask Ordinance Settlement

Bondurant lawyers Michael Terry Robbie Ashe Sachin Varghese Danny Vincent represented Athens-Clarke County in defending a lawsuit against Athens-Clarke County’s COVID-related ordinances requiring masks in public spaces and reducing bars’ operating hours to make last call earlier. Late last night, the parties were able to reach a welcome settlement, and the lawsuit was dismissed this morning. Accordingly, from tonight on, last call in Athens will be 11:30 pm, not 2 am, and Athens’ mask order remains in full effect.
