Emmett Bondurant Honored By Emory Public Interest Committee

Emmet Bondurant, a partner in the firm, was honored by the Emory Public Interest Committee (a Student Organization of Emory University School of Law) at an Awards Ceremony and Reception on Tuesday, January 28, 2003, in the Tull Auditorium at Emory University School of Law.

Emmet was chosen by a group of students and his peers who felt that his work serves as an example to the legal community of providing access to equal justice for all people. The award honors his Lifetime Commitment to Public Service.

The other award recipients were Debbie Segal (Pro Bono Partner at Kilpatrick for Outstanding Leadership in the Public Interest) and Karen Brown (Atlanta Legal Aid Society's Home Defense Program for Unsung Devotion to Those Most in Need). The award was presented by Mayor Shirley Franklin.
