Von DuBose brings a strong business focus to his legal practice, which encompasses both commercial litigation and sports law. He is an adept negotiator who can often help clients avoid the courtroom through early dispute resolution, and also has a strong record of successful outcomes at trial.
Von has successfully defended and prosecuted claims in matters ranging from business torts to discrimination and harassment. He also serves as a licensed NFL contract advisor and currently represents several NFL athletes.

Representative Work
Lead counsel in defense of a Division 1 college football player against allegations by the NCAA that he received improper benefits while still a student athlete. The athlete was not suspended by the school or the NCAA, was a high round NFL draft pick and started for his NFL team as a rookie.
Lead counsel in an action that obtained for an investor a $2.7 million judgment against all defendants, including claims against a Merrill Lynch advisor and several other companies over a series of domestic and international investments.
Lead counsel for an entertainer in opposing a multi-million default judgment entered against him in Fulton Superior Court. Five years after the judgment was issued, petitioned the Georgia Supreme Court to have it overturned and negotiated a settlement for less than 5 percent of face value of the judgment.
Represented a national non-profit in claims that it was responsible for a sexual assault that occurred during one of its events. Negotiated a nuisance value settlement for the client after obtaining exculpatory evidence from the district attorney's file that had not been previously produced in discovery.
Successfully represented a client in a dispute with his business partner regarding monies owed in regard to the ownership and operation of a private jet.
Lead counsel for a sports facility development company in a suit filed by an individual advancing claims including fraud and breach of contract against the company and its founding members in their individual capacities. Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case after his deposition.
Worked extensively with the NAACP on public accommodations and discriminatory housing matters, and co-authored an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court on behalf of the NAACP, SCLC, AARP, and other groups filed in support of the petitioners in Kelo v. City of New London, 125 S.Ct. 2655 (2005), contending that the use of eminent domain for economic development purposes particularly disadvantages minorities, the poor and the elderly. Arguments made in the amicus brief were mentioned by Justice Thomas in his dissenting opinion.
