Mary Pyrdum is a litigator with experience representing major corporations and high-net-worth individuals at both the trial and appellate levels in high-stakes business disputes. Mary’s work includes filing claims on behalf of clients involving breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and RICO. Additionally, Mary is currently serving as counsel to classes of consumers against major financial institutions.
Pro Bono Work
Won resentencing and release of federal inmate. Persuaded the district court to reverse its prior ruling denying the inmate’s pro se 28 U.S.C. § 2255 petition. Instead of serving ten more years in prison, the inmate was released. See United States v. Brown, No. 2:02-00045 (N.D. Ga. Jun. 3, 2010) (O’Kelley, J.)
